Meriem Naïli is a PhD student in the Department of Political Studies at the University of Exeter in the UK. She works mainly on the issue of human rights and conflict resolution in Western Sahara. She is interested in the issue of the lack of access to natural resources for a non-self-governing people under occupation, and its impact on the expression of the right to self-determination. She is also a member of the executive committee of the British organisation Western Sahara Campaign UK and of the steering committee of OUISO.
